Academics Overview

Salem Community College offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs including new programs in business administration (associate in applied science), nuclear energy technology, pharmacy technician and sustainable energy technology.

In addition, SCC offers noncredit classes to provide lifelong learning opportunities and services to the residents and businesses in Salem County and the region.

Salem Community College offers four degrees: the Associate in Applied Science, the Associate in Science, the Associate in Arts and the Associate in Fine Arts. SCC also offers certificate programs, Weekend College and Niche Programs that offer content and skill acquisition in preparation for employment in career specialty areas. Many programs prepare students for entry into specialized careers. Others have been developed to parallel the first two years of a four-year college or university program and are designed to assist students in continuing their education after SCC graduation.

Salem Community College now offers more convienant ways to provide education that fits your schedule. Weekend College or Hybrid/Online courses allow for students to learn at a pace that fits your daily routines.
