The Salem County Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony scheduled for August 24 has been postponed until 2021.

"Due to the State of New Jersey's restriction on indoor seating capacity, we believe it's best to postpone the induction ceremony until next August," said Ceil Smith, Executive Director of the Salem Community College Foundation, the event's sponsor.

The 2021 induction ceremony will again be held in Davidow Hall at Salem Community College, home of the Salem County Sports Hall of Fame.

Smith said that nominations received for the induction class of 2020 will be considered for the next induction class. To request a nomination form, contact Smith at csmith@salemcc.edu.

Since 2000, the Salem County Sports Hall of Fame has inducted over 100 amateur and professional athletes, coaches and others with a lasting impact on Salem County sports including athletic directors, trainers and sports writers.
