Meet the GEC team
Paige Morris
Paige Lizbeth Morris (b. 1990 in Allentown, PA) is an artist, writer, and fabricator. She received her MFA in Craft / Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020 and her BFA in Glass from Tyler School of Art + Architecture in 2012. Morris has participated in the Sculpture Emerging Artist in Residence Program at Millersville University. She is a recipient of the Jack Malis Glass Award, the Temple Creative Arts + Research Grant, and the Lilian + Nathan Reiss Scholarship in Glass. Morris has exhibited work internationally in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Texas, and Tipperary, Ireland. She has taught at various institutions including Salem Community College, Tyler School of Art + Architecture, and Virginia Commonwealth University. Her work is included in New Glass Review #34, #41. She is a member of the Burnt Asphalt Family and sits on the Glass Art Society Board of Directors as the Student Representative. Paige is a co-founder of Protest Project, an online art auction that aims to fundraise donations for social justice and change-based organizations. She currently resides in Philadelphia, PA where she maintains her interdisciplinary studio practice.
