Class of 1986
Jennifer Jones has served as executive director and chief operating officer of the Salem County Chamber of Commerce since 1999. This lifelong Salem County resident promotes and advocates for the county and her hometown, Salem City. Jennifer is also highly respected and appreciated as a true county ambassador -- always getting involved and willing to help.
In 2020, her tireless efforts on the task force to re-open Salem County businesses and provide timely information to business operators were critically important.
Jennifer also demonstrates her love for Salem County through her many years of volunteerism. She has served on the Salem County Economic Development Commission, the Salem County Vocational-Technical Schools Community Advisory Panel, Salem City Community United, Salem Main Street Board and the Bishop Guilfoyle Regional School Board and several other endeavors to support the community. She is also a member of the SCC Alumni Association Board.
While working as a senior personal banking officer/account executive at MBNA America in the 1990s, she attended Goldey-Beacom College, majoring in business administration. Later, Jennifer completed the National Chamber of Commerce Summer Institute Program and received a certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Delaware.
Jennifer received the Salem County Woman of Achievement Award and, while at MBNA America, the Employee Unsung Hero Award.
