Marybeth Chambers
Meet the SCC Faculty
Marybeth Chambers, Instructor of Nursing, teaches nursing theory courses and nursing laboratory in the ADN program and previously taught theory and laboratory in the LPN program. Marybeth started her career at Salem Community College as the Nursing Lab Specialist. She is nationally certified as a Critical Care Nurse and is a two-time recipient of the Nurse Excellence Award from Christiana Care. She has spent much of her time at the hospital precepting new nurses to the field. Her clinical background and experience is in Critical Care nursing and Emergency Department nursing. Marybeth has worked at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey as a critical care nurse in their mixed intensive care unit, focusing on cardiac, respiratory, surgical, and neurological patients. She currently works at Christiana Care as a critical care nurse in the medical intensive care unit.
