Karen Jones
Meet the SCC Faculty
Karen Jones MSN, RN, Assistant Professor of Nursing, teaches nursing theory, lab, and clinical in the LPN Program. Karen started her career at Salem Community College as an Adjunct Instructor teaching clinical in the LPN program. Karen has also taught clinical in the ADN program at Salem as well as filling in for labs as needed. She has Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. She has a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a major in Nursing Education. Her clinical background is in progressive care, medical surgical, camp nurse, and labor and delivery. In addition, she has worked for several years at Christiana Care with Hematology and Oncology patients on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. She is currently practicing as a Registered Nurse per diem at Inspira Health Department in Vineland and Elmer.
