SCC alum devoted to public service career that now spans 20 years

Michael J. Smith, a patrolman with the Winslow Twp. Police Dept., started his public service career in 2000 at age 20.  While enrolled at SCC, he became a firefighter and emergency medical technician (EMT) at Carneys Point Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Recent high school graduates Abigail Chomo, Atira Johnson and Madison Lawlor have chosen Salem Community College. They join many other Class of 2020 graduates from throughout Salem County and the region.

Salem Community College (SCC) adjunct science instructor James Menz has published an e-textbook for students and experienced nurses titled Heart Appreciation, The Nurse’s Guide to the Cardiovascular System.

Morgan Morris is following in her sister Anissa’s footsteps in the Salem Community College nursing program.

After Morgan earned a Practical Nursing certificate in May, she was admitted into the associate degree in nursing program.
