SCC Nursing Program ranks best in South Jersey
Salem Community College’s Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) program ranks as the best in South Jersey, according to RegisteredNursing.org. Overall, the program ranks #5 in the state.
According to its website, Registerednursing.org has created the Best Nursing Schools in New Jersey rankings, using NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) pass rates as the sole ranking criterion.
SCC nursing graduates have consistently achieved high pass rates on the NCLEX-RN exam (state boards), the gateway to becoming registered nurses.
Assistant Dean of Nursing Kristine Hunt spoke of the significance of the high ranking.
“Having our ADN program recognized as the #5 Nursing program in the state of New Jersey and #1 in South Jersey, is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the dedication, resilience, and excellence of our students, faculty, and staff here at SCC,” said Hunt.
“This achievement validates our commitment to preparing compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled nurses who are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients and communities they serve,” she continued. “I am incredibly proud of our program and grateful to everyone who continues to contribute to our success.”
